The PN-G boys basketball teams are each preparing for their district meetings with Cleveland on Friday after each securing wins last week against Vidor.

The varsity team’s 42-38 win snapped a two-game skid in District 21-5A play.

Drake Rojas led the way with 18 points. Tracy Smith added 16 points and 12 rebounds.

Rounding out the program’s wins were the freshman team, 32-30, and JV with a 55-52 win.

The freshman are scheduled to tipoff with Cleveland at 4:30 p.m. Friday in the competition gym. The JV team will follow (approximately 6 p.m.) and varsity will begin afterward (approximately 7:30 p.m.)
