The PN-G Rock-A-Noos are making their return to the playoffs for the first time since 2021.
Under the leadership of senior co-captains Blakely Burks and Olivia Jordan, the team has posted an impressive 26-17 record this season.
Reflecting on the journey, Olivia Jordan (’25) acknowledged that the team was excited and ready for the return to the playoffs.
“Our team had its ups and downs this season,” Jordan said, “But our team chemistry and love for each other helped us push through.”
The Rock-A-Noos’ success is a testament to their hard work and dedication, with standout performances from players like Shaelyn Cobb (’26) and Joley Nail (’26).
Second-year coach Allie McDaniel has played a pivotal role in shaping the team into determined and diligent competitors.
The schedule has been set and PNG will face Friendswood at Hamshire-Fannett High School on Tuesday, Nov. 5 in the Bi-District round — however, before that match, the Indians will close out the regular season at home against Beaumont United on Tuesday.
The varsity match will begin at 6:30 p.m., with Senior Night ceremonies taking place before the match. Preceding the the match, also, will be the season finale for both the freshman and JV teams.
On Friday, the varsity team will take on Livingston in a home playoff warmup match in the competition gym.
The varsity team, only, will play at 5 p.m.
