The Indianettes traveled to Galveston to attend Crowd Pleasers Line Camp from July 22-24, learning a camp evaluation routine and at the end of the week, came away decorated with awards.
The Indianettes received the following awards:
- High Platinum Award in Pep Rally Jazz/Kick routine
- Technique Award
- Fan Favorite Award for Day 1
- Kick Master Awards went to Erin Morris (’26), Lt. Emily Brannin (’25), Kambry Knox (’27)
- All-Star Dancer Awards went to Betsey Mcintyre (26), Erin Morris (26), Capt. Kylie Montalvo (25), Lt. Emily Brannin, and Reese Plessala (26)
“Crowd Pleasers Line Camp grew our team in so many ways,” Indianette Capt. Kylie Montalvo said. “We had a blast while setting our foundation for the coming year. Great Memories were made, with lots of hard work sprinkled in. For me, the most special part of it all was performing with the new team for the first time.”
Several former Indianettes who are directors of their own teams were there, including a few Indianette alumni who are Crowd Pleaser staff members.
