Boys golf finish tops at H-J tournament

Varsity golfers Jason Adams, Braden Broussard, Devin Galloway, Jake Gauthier and Dalton Shield brought home 1st Place out of 12 teams Monday during the Hardin-Jefferson Boys Golf Invitational at Idylwild Golf Club in Sour Lake.

The foursome finished with a score of 333.

Broussard and Adams finished as 2nd and 3rd Place  overall, medaling individually with a 79 and an 81, respectively.

A second varsity team of Michael Blotner, Blake Makelki, Jared Fournet, Jeffrey Wolfe and Conner Knight finished in 4th Place with a score of 380.

The varsity boys are back in action Monday, Jan. 25, when they compete in the Jasper tournament at Rayburn Country. JV gets into action Tuesday as it hosts the PN-G JV Invitational at Babe Zaharias Golf Course in Port Arthur.
