Emily Smith, Pow Wow Editor

Eunique Angeline Fernandez is a freshman at PN-G. On a normal school day, she enjoys spending time with her friends and seeing her teachers in class. This is her #NDNSatHOME story.

Q: What’s the first thing you want to do when things go back to “normal?”
A: I want to see my friends and my teachers, I miss them more then usual because I can’t see them — only text!

Q: What’s one positive thing you think you can pull away from this situation?
A: I read that the Earth is getting healthier, some animals are roaming free and killings aren’t so bad as before all of this so — I’m glad to hear that.

Q: What have you learned about yourself while distance learning has been in place?
A: I learned that I can stay up pretty late if I set my mind to it, haha.

Q: If 2020 had a theme song what do you think it would be?
A: I’m not sure but it has to be a pretty crazy and disastrous song.

Q: Have you taken up any new hobbies with all the free time? What are they?
A: I draw and paint more than usual.

Q: What’s your favorite distance learning class and why?
A: Maybe PE. It’s easy and gives me easy quick little workouts.

Q: What’s one thing you’re looking forward to next year that you hope doesn’t get affected or ruined because of COVID-19 AND why?
A: Seeing my friends and being around people.

Q: Finally, what message would you like to give to your fellow classmates?
A: I hope you’re doing well and are staying safe see you soon even if you don’t want to, haha.
