Brittney Boleyn is a senior at PN-G. On a normal school day, she is involved as an NDN Press photographer, band and as a counselor’s aide. This is her #NDNSatHOME story.

Q: What’s the first thing you want to do when things go back to “normal?”
A: I want to see all of my friends and let them know how much they mean to me.

Q: What’s one positive thing you think you can pull away from this situation?
A: Our community is more than just people who live in the same town; we are a family that cares for one another.

Q: What have you learned about yourself while distance learning has been in place?
A: Now I know that no matter what I go through I am stronger than I believe.

Q: If 2020 had a theme song what do you think it would be?
A: “Keep Your Head Up,” “We’re All in This Together,” or “Here’s To You,” by Abby Bannon.

Q: Have you taken up any new hobbies with all the free time? What are they?
A: Yes, I have started a few painting crafts.

Q: What’s your favorite distance learning class and why?
A: Probably my Dollars and Cents class, because it is the most normal to what we were doing in class.

Q: Finally, what message would you like to give to your fellow classmates?
A: My fellow seniors, we have already been through so much and we have always come back stronger than before. Our class is full of so many amazing people and I believe that each and everyone of us is going to be successful in life. We have been through so many obstacles, more than I think we needed, but this is getting us ready for the real world. Although this isn’t how we wanted our senior year to go, it is a blessing in disguise. So, watch out world, we have some strong NDNS coming through!
