Karson LaBier is a senior at PN-G.  On a normal school day, he is involved in National Honor Society, Senior HOSA, serves on the board of Jefferson County 4H, and works as a veterinary technician assistant at Rutty Animal Clinic.  This is his #NDNSatHOME story.

Q:  What’s the first thing you want to do when things go back to “normal”?
A:  First thing I want to do is see all my friends again.

Q:  What’s one positive thing you can pull away from this situation?
A:  One positive thing I can take away from this is it shows how great our community is with everyone helping each other in different ways.

Q:  What have you learned about yourself while distance learning has been in place?
A:  I have learned that I like attending school and staying busy.

Q:  If 2020 had a theme song what do you think it would be?
A:  “We Are Legends,” by Valley of Wolves.

Q:  Have you taken up any new hobbies with all the free time?  What are they?
A:  Working as a veterinary technician assistant at Rutty Animal Clinic has become my full-time, daytime hobby and then online school is now done afterwards.

Q:  What’s your favorite distance learning class and why?
A:  It would have to be HOSA because we are still learning new and interesting things.

Q:  Finally, what message would you like to give to your fellow classmates?
A:  We have faced many hard times throughout our years, this is just another challenge we will conquer.
