Raegan Hudspeth is a senior at PN-G. On a normal school day, she is involved in G-Crew, peer tutoring and HOSA. This is her #NDNSatHOME story.

Q: What’s the first thing you want to do when things go back to “normal?”
A: When life goes back to how we knew it — I’m grabbing all my friends and we’re having a shopping spree at TJ Maxx.

Q: What’s one positive thing you think you can pull away from this situation?
A: I’ve spent some much needed quality time with my family and myself I didn’t know I needed. A little something to be thankful for in a time like this.

Q: What have you learned about yourself while distance learning has been in place?
A: As hard as this whole situation is, it has taught me so many tools to use later on in life. Patience — by the end of quarantine, I will be mastered in the art of patience

Q: If 2020 had a theme song what do you think it would be?
A: “I Hope You Dance,” by Lee Ann Womack.

Q: Have you taken up any new hobbies with all the free time? What are they?
A: I’ve found myself baking a bunch of different treats and delivering them to my neighbors

Q: What’s your favorite distance learning class and why?
A: My favorite class is HOSA. Even though we’re not out in the community doing clinicals, Ms. Fontenot still finds ways for us to observe and watch procedures and surgeries.

Q: Finally, what message would you like to give to your fellow classmates?
A: Keep your head up — We’re the class of 2020! We will get through this difficult time because we’ve overcome so much to get where we are now. We won’t be forgotten. We’re the ‘senior skip day’ champions! I promise, in due time we will see each other and finish our senior activities together before we go our own ways!
