Four varsity football players signed with universities to play college football during a signing ceremony Wednesday afternoon in the competition gym.
Seniors Jarrett Caillier, Caison Denzlinger, Trey Lisauckis and Joshua Patteson all inked their commitments before a crowded gym, with family, friends, teammates and coaches watching.
“This is extremely important,” Brandon Faircloth, head coach, said. “It’s an exciting day for our football program. We’ve got four guys moving on to play football at the next level.”
Patteson signed to play at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. Denzlinger signed with Howard Payne University. Lisauckis signed with Trinity University and Caillier with the University of Arkansas at Monticello.
Each player was introduced by assistant coaches Blake Austin and Peter Medlock.
