The University Interscholastic League on Monday announced its tentative reclassification and realignment for football, basketball and volleyball districts.

In football, the Indians are in eight-team District 12-5A II with opponents Crosby, Dayton, Humble Kingwood Park, Barbers Hill, Nederland, Santa Fe and Texas City.

In basketball and volleyball, the Indians are in seven-team District 21-5A with opponents Beaumont United, Crosby, Galena Park, Barbers Hill, Nederland and Port Arthur Memorial.

According to the UILTexas.org, schools can discuss scheduling possibilities beginning today, but can’t begin contracting until Feb. 26. Districts cannot officially finalize schedules until that date, too.

Final appeals for teams unsatisfied with their placements will be heard Feb. 25 by the District Assignment Appeals Committee.
